Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to support our fleet management department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for commercial operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities

 

• Governance of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) matrices.
• Preparation of fleet charges for overhauls and Annual Airworthiness Reviews (AAW).
• Taking the commercial lead in the technical review of AAW topics.
• Identification of trends in fleet charges and proposing cost-saving measures, the benefits of which would be passed to fleet projects to support with Project 90/Barracuda, etc.
• Responding to fleet queries regarding AAW costs.
• Supporting Customer Service (CS) fleet commercials with customer claims to maximise their success.
• Supporting fleet commercials with defect claims to maximise their success.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• ACCA/CIMA Qualified - Or working towards 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and propose effective solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
