Overview

• Our client is a leading insurance organisation and looking for a Customer Analyst to join their Customer Science team. They are a multi-award-winning team that is passionate about driving better customer and commercial outcomes. They use data to understand customers so they can be more relevant and take better actions.
• The right person will be able to deliver high quality analytics, understand customer behaviour and help deliver our client’s ambition. Day-to-day responsibilities include coding, understanding customer data that will then be summarised for stakeholder consumption.
• This is a great job for someone who is passionate about creating analytics and data science solutions to help the business understand their customers better and inform business decisions. They will enjoy partnering with business stakeholders and collaborating with AI/ML colleagues to design and embed innovative solutions and generate best-in-class and high-impact, actionable customer insights and recommendations for real-world problems.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• Educated to degree or post-graduate level, in numerate /programming-oriented subject, or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through industry experience.
• Have programming experience in SQL (essential) and proven ability to manipulate and prepare large datasets for analytics and predictive modelling (experience in Python or R would be great in addition).
• Able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical / non-technical audiences and articulate impact from data science and analytics work.
• Some experience/interest in hypothesis testing and statistical methods (statistical significance, effect size, randomisation, statistical tests) desirable.
• Is passionate about using customer data and advanced analytics expertise with proven experience to help businesses understand customer behaviour and take action.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach; a great team player.
