Overview
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Master Scheduler to join our Defence client in the UK. This individual will be working within PMO Reporting and will be responsible for drawing up a schedule for our clients Master Plan. The ideal candidate will be accountable for the management and overview of a wide scale of projects to come together for the clients programme to be completed. They will also be in charge of identifying critical pathways so that a plan can be created within a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Working with a portfolio of high profile stakeholders, to understand their individual projects and the timescales associated with completion;
- Identifying risks within said projects and managing and maintaining a risk log to ensure this is mitigated;
- Pooling together project completion dates so that they can coincide with the overall completion of the programme;
- Managing and building relationships with stakeholders to understand issues and delays within their projects;
- Reporting estimated completion dates to the end client and making them aware of any concerns;
- Negotiating and influencing management teams to adhere to process’ and strict timeframes
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Subject matter expertise in the application of Project planning tools & techniques, including MS Project; Primavera Risk Analysis
- IT skills: including Word, Excel and MS Project.
- Project Management qualification (desirable)
